Soccer Recap: Pine View Triumphs

Pine View proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Stansbury Stallions 3-2. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Pine View were the better team in the second half.

Russell Jacobs and Andy Prudencio scored all three of Pine View's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Pine View's record is now 3-0. As for Stansbury, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Pine View will host Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine View's defense better be ready for this one: Dixie have averaged an impressive 3 goals per game this season. As for Stansbury, they will face off against Canyon View at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
