Preview: Parkway South Patriots vs. McCluer North Stars
Having just played yesterday, the Parkway South Patriots will get right back to it and host the McCluer North Stars at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Parkway South has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
On Thursday, Parkway South beat Hazelwood West 54-41.
Parkway South got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Eddie Ahearn out in front who scored 16 points. Ryan Shanfeld was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, McCluer North can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Parkway North with a sharp 67-47 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for McCluer North.
Parkway South's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12. As for McCluer North, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
