Basketball Recap: San Miguel Vipers vs. Desert Christian Eagles
San Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Desert Christian Eagles and fell 69-33. If the Vipers were looking for revenge after losing 57-21 to the Eagles when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Samuel Alday had a dynamite game For Desert Christian., almost dropping a double-double with 27 points and nine boards. Those 27 points gave Alday a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Jaegers, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.
San Miguel's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
