Preview: Eastside Blazers vs. Garrett Railroaders
Eastside is on a four-game streak of home losses, Garrett a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Eastside Blazers will take on the Garrett Railroaders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Eastside pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a tough 86-61 defeat at the hands of Fremont.
Meanwhile, Garrett suffered a tough 46-26 defeat at the hands of Whitko on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Garrett has scored all season.
Eastside has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Garrett, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.
Eastside didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Garrett in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 31-27 win. Does Eastside have another victory up their sleeve, or will Garrett turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
