Princeton was the 1-0 winner over Rosewood when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Princeton Bulldogs fell just short of the Rosewood Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Princeton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Macon Boone, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. That hit was Boone's first of the season.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Rosewood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Princeton is taking a road trip to challenge Eastern Wayne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games Princeton has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Rosewood, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Hobbton at 6:00 p.m. Hobbton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.9 runs per game this season.
