Person is 7-2 against Williams since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Person Rockets will host the Williams Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Person will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Last Wednesday, Person didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Western Alamance, but they still walked away with a 72-66 win. Given the Rockets' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Warriors are ranked 228th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Williams didn't have too much trouble with Cedar Ridge on Wednesday as they won 57-43. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Fighting Red Wolves recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Person better focus on containing Colby Elliot and Jaeden Smith as the pair were huge in Williams' win. Elliot posted 16 points and eight rebounds, while Smith earned 15 points. Cavion Stokes was another key player, putting up two points and seven assists.

Person's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Williams, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

Person didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Williams in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 58-54 win. Does Person have another victory up their sleeve, or will Williams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
