Boquet Valley skates past Schroon Lake with ease

Recap: Boquet Valley Griffins vs. Schroon Lake Wildcats
The Boquet Valley Griffins put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Schroon Lake 85-44 at home. Boquet Valley's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Boquet Valley had a senior duo take command as Ben Burdo went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 4 assists and Jackson Hooper scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. The contest was Hooper's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bode Buehler, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Boquet Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Schroon Lake, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boquet Valley will square off against Peru at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Peru will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 486th, while Boquet Valley is ranked 68th). As for Schroon Lake, they will head out on the road to face off against Willsboro Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Willsboro Central is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
