Basketball Recap: Charlestown Pirates vs. Jennings County Panthers
Charlestown took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the Jennings County Panthers 72-52. The Pirates pushed the score to 55-32 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers cut but never quite recovered from.

Anthony Fresh was a one-man wrecking crew as he went 11-for-15 en route to 32 points and five rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in each of the last 12 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Keevin Bowman, who shot 63% from the field on his way to 12 points.

Coming up, Charlestown will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Silver Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Pirates' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Jennings County, they will be playing at home against Madison at 6:00 p.m. on the 5th.
