Football Game Preview: Bryant Owls vs. Flushing Red Devils

The Bryant Owls will head out on the road to challenge the Flushing Red Devils on Saturday. Flushing took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bryant, who comes in off a win.

Bryant is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Jamaica 30-8 on Saturday. The Owls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Mahdi Kobeissi, who threw for 171 yards and two TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 64 yards and one score on only five carries. A healthy portion of Kobeissi's aerial production (107 yards to be exact) went to Adam Oueriaguli, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Meanwhile, Flushing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 16-8 to Beach Channel. That's two games in a row now that the Red Devils have lost by exactly eight points.

Flushing's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bryant, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Bryant strolled past Flushing in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 30-12. Do the Owls have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
