Volleyball Recap: Bishop Neumann Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bishop Neumann waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bergan Catholic Knights. That's more bragging rights for the Cavaliers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bishop Neumann easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-19.

Kyler Cada paced Bishop Neumann's offense, picking up ten kills. Cada got some help from Ila Bolden and her 25 assists. Cada was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Bishop Neumann's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Bergan Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-4.

Bishop Neumann wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Lincoln Lutheran on the 23rd. As for Bergan Catholic, they will head out on the road to challenge Yutan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
