Softball Recap: Scott Takes a Loss

If Scott was riding high fresh off their 12-3 takedown of Campbell County on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell just short of the Grant County Braves by a score of 7-6 on Friday.

Elise Manhardt made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Scott's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8-1. As for Grant County, the win got them back to even at 6-6-1.

Coming up, Scott will head out on the road to face off against Lloyd Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grant County, they will host Pendleton County at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
