Despite the defeat, Redwood Christian had strong showings from Lilliana Faumuina, who posted 12 points along with five boards and five steals, and Nori Dania, who put up two points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Melody Chock, who earned five points.

Meanwhile, Contra Costa Christian lost to Jewish Community on the road by a 48-29 margin last Thursday.

Contra Costa Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Redwood Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
