Basketball Recap: Admiral Farragut Takes a Loss

Admiral Farragut lost against Canterbury back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Admiral Farragut BlueJackets lost 54-32 to the Canterbury Crusaders. The BlueJackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

MacKenzie Tucker was her usual excellent self, putting up 29 points for Canterbury. That makes it five consecutive games in which Tucker has scored at least a third of Canterbury's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zy Alhuzaifi, who posted 25 points.

Admiral Farragut's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Canterbury, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Admiral Farragut didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-16 loss against Clearwater Central Catholic on the 22nd. As for Canterbury, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 46-40 victory against Academy at the Lakes on the 23rd.
