Volleyball Game Preview: Cross Creek Razorbacks vs. Westside Patriots

Cross Creek is 0-8 against Westside since August of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Razorbacks are taking a road trip to face off against the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Cross Creek came up short against Aquinas and fell 2-0.

Cross Creek was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring seven points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-7.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Westside and Grovetown, and Grovetown kept the tradition alive. The Patriots took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-12.

Cross Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Westside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Cross Creek couldn't quite get it done against Westside in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Razorbacks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
