Volleyball Recap: Taegan Spier and Caitlyn O'donnell Secure Win for Perryville

Perryville won the last time they faced Edgewood and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rams. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Perryville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-21.

Perryville was led to victory by Caitlyn O'Donnell and Taegan Spier. O'Donnell had 17 digs, while Spier had five aces, three digs, and three blocks. That's the most aces Spier has posted since back in October of 2024.

They weren't the only good servers: Perryville was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 14 consecutive matchups.

Perryville's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Edgewood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
