Volleyball Recap: Tonganoxie Comes Up Short

Tonganoxie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Ottawa Cyclones. The Chieftains were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cyclones earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15.

Tonganoxie's loss dropped their record down to 13-13-2. As for Ottawa, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-14.

Tonganoxie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Basehor-Linwood on the 4th. As for Ottawa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Maize South on the 4th.
