Shalhevet waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 67-36 win over the Environmental Charter White Tigers. Given the Firehawks' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the White Tigers are ranked 869th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Shalhevet pushed their record up to 12-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Environmental Charter, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Shalhevet won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Compton Early College at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
