Nebraska Lutheran entered their tilt with Twin River on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Titans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since September 16th.

Samantha Hueske paced Nebraska Lutheran's offense, picking up nine kills. Hueske got some help from Autumn Malchow and her 14 assists. Hueske was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Nebraska Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Twin River, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-19.

Nebraska Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley on the 18th. Hopefully Twin River paid attention to the Knights' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Knights at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
