Softball Recap: Bel Air Comes Up Short

After soaring to 26 runs the game before, Bel Air was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 11-1 to the Chapin Huskies. The Highlanders have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Riley Garner was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Bel Air's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Chapin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Looking ahead, Bel Air will be taking part in a tournament against Fabens at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday. As for Chapin, they have already played their next contest, a 6-4 victory against Montwood on the 27th.
