Basketball Recap: West Caldwell Tech Takes a Loss

West Caldwell Tech suffered their closest defeat since December 27, 2023 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Nutley Maroon Raiders by a score of 57-54. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Maroon Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

West Caldwell Tech's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Nutley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

West Caldwell Tech will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Newark Tech at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nutley, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Morristown at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
