Baseball Recap: Mossyrock Comes Up Short

Mossyrock was the 15-1 winner over Morton/White Pass when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings came up short against the Huskies on Wednesday, falling 15-4. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Gunnar Callies was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Kevin Mitchell also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Mossyrock's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Morton/White Pass, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14.

While Mossyrock had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
