Basketball Recap: Grosse Pointe North Comes Up Short

Grosse Pointe North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 51-38 to the Utica Ford Falcons. The contest was a 16-16 toss-up at halftime, but the Norsemen couldn't quite close it out.

Grosse Pointe North now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Utica Ford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grosse Pointe North will challenge rival Utica Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Utica Ford is set to square off against their familiar foe Grosse Pointe South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
