Softball Recap: Bishop Shanahan Eagles vs. Sun Valley Vanguards
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East, Bishop Shanahan was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Sun Valley Vanguards get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
Kaylee Seybert was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season.
In other batting news, Bailey McComsey was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2025. Caitlin Moore was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.
