Softball Recap: Ansonia Comes Up Short

Ansonia lost to Naugatuck back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chargers took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greyhounds.

Weston Ahearn was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Ansonia now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Naugatuck, their record now sits at 5-9.

Ansonia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Naugatuck, they will square off against Seymour at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
