Baker won the last time they faced Trona and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Braves came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tornadoes, sneaking past 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.

Baker had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 20-25, 25-21, 28-26, 15-9.

Baker's victory bumped their record up to 11-21-1. As for Trona, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-1 record this season.
