Football Game Preview: Mobridge-Pollock Tigers vs. Deuel Cardinals

The Mobridge-Pollock Tigers will challenge the Deuel Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mobridge-Pollock's defense has only allowed 11.1 points per game this season, so Deuel's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Mobridge-Pollock came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by Clark/Willow Lake 44-6. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Deuel took on Webster on Friday. The Cardinals claimed a resounding 43-8 victory over the Bearcats. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mobridge-Pollock fell to 6-1. As for Deuel, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 6-1.

Mobridge-Pollock didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Deuel in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 19-13 win.
