Basketball Recap: American Prep WV Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact American Prep WV can now relate to. They took a blow against the Intermountain Christian Lions on Tuesday, falling 59-21. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost eight in a row.

American Prep WV's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Intermountain Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

American Prep WV does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Intermountain Christian, they will square off against Grand County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Intermountain Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Grand County likes a good challenge.
