Trace Hoffman has led Hampshire in stolen bases on the season and he led the team again on Friday. Hoffman scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Hampshire Hawks duke it out with Franklin Christian Academy Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Hoffman's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Hampshire's three-game streak of wins on the road.
