Baseball Recap: Sun Prairie West Comes Up Short

After flying high against Madison East on Thursday, Sun Prairie West came back down to earth. The Wolves fell just short of the Arrowhead Warhawks by a score of 3-1 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wolves have suffered since April 16th.

Sun Prairie West's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Arrowhead, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Sun Prairie West is taking a road trip to face off against D.C. Everest at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Arrowhead, they will host Catholic Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
