Volleyball Recap: American Heritage Academy Takes a Loss

American Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Amplus Academy Archers. Considering the last time the Patriots couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

American Heritage Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-16.

American Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Amplus Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, American Heritage Academy and The Meadows School will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Amplus Academy, they will head out to square off against Silverado at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Archers are facing the Skyhawks at the right time seeing as the Skyhawks are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
