Baseball Game Preview: Cabool Bulldogs vs. Houston Tigers

The Cabool Bulldogs will face off against the Houston Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cabool has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 26.

Cabool came up short against Mountain Grove on Monday, falling 9-2.

Cabool saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Long, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Houston duked it out with Licking on Monday. The Tigers fell 8-4 to the Wildcats. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Jasper McCloy was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and one stolen base.

Cabool's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Houston, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
