Basketball Recap: Battle Lake Takes a Loss

If Battle Lake was riding high fresh off their 69-48 takedown of Ashby last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Battle Lake Battlers fell 60-47 to the Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Wolverines on Thursday. The Battlers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 56-52.

Battle Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley, their victory bumped their record up to 10-14.

Battle Lake has already played their next game, a 65-59 loss against Rothsay on the 17th. As for Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley, they will take on Ada-Borup/Norman County West at 4:30 p.m. on February 21st.
