Softball Recap: North Point's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

It was a good run, but North Point unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 15-4 to the Chopticon Braves. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Braves from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Brianna Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.

North Point's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Chopticon, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. North Point is set to take on their familiar foe Calvert at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Chopticon will square off against rival McDonough on Friday.
