Volleyball Recap: Watervliet Comes Up Short

Watervliet lost against Martin back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Clippers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Watervliet ultimately came up short, they really made Martin work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 26-24, 25-19.

Watervliet's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16-1. As for Martin, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Watervliet will take on Buchanan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Martin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
