Football Recap: C.A. Johnson Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Lee Central came into Friday's game looking for another win against C.A. Johnson, but Stacey Isaac wouldn't allow it. The Hornets walked away with a 30-20 win over the Stallions on Friday thanks in part to Isaac, who threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt. He is becoming a predictor of C.A. Johnson's success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't).

C.A. Johnson's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Johnathon Jenkins with three sacks. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.1 total tackles per game. C.A. Johnson got some further help from Elijah Harper: he made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

C.A. Johnson's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Lee Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
