The Orleans Bulldogs will be home for the holidays to greet the New Albany Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Orleans has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Northeast Dubois 61-27 at home. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up nine more assists than your opponent, as Orleans did.
Orleans' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Xavier Alston led the charge by scoring 17 points. Another player making a difference was Rylan Crocker, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals.
Meanwhile, New Albany didn't have too much trouble with Floyd Central on the road on Friday as they won 88-73.
Orleans pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.33 points. As for New Albany, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
