Football Recap: Berrien Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Berrien was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane, falling 42-6. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 311th, while the Purple Hurricane are ranked 123rd).

Cash Perkins threw for 111 yards while completing 82.4% of his passes. Tay Lyas was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards.

Berrien's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Fitzgerald, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.
