Football Recap: Jefferson-Morgan Falls Short of Laurel in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jefferson-Morgan can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Laurel Spartans and fell 35-0. The Rockets have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Laurel to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kolton Carlson, who rushed for 91 yards and one TD on only eight carries, and also picked up 43 receiving yards. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 50 yards. Another receiver making a difference was Ethan Hamilla, who picked up 31 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Jefferson-Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Laurel, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

As of now, neither Jefferson-Morgan nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
