Volleyball Recap: Eastland Extends Winning Streak to Four

It's playoff time, and Eastland had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the East Dubuque Warriors on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Vanessa Allen and Trixie Carroll, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Keara Kaus and her 20 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Eastland's victory bumped their record up to 26-10. As for East Dubuque, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

Coming up, Eastland will square off against Milledgeville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Dubuque does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
