Basketball Recap: Pine Ridge Victorious

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Pine Ridge Thorpes beat the Cody Broncs 52-48.

Marvin Richard Lll was a one-man wrecking crew for Pine Ridge as he went 11 for 24 on his way to 34 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Steele, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 17 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

The win got Pine Ridge back to even at 1-1. As for Cody, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Pine Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 76-66 loss against Campbell County on the 14th. As for Cody, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-41 victory against Torrington on the 14th.
