Football Recap: Oakridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Oakridge blew Ravenna out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Ravenna got their revenge. The Eagles fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 29-26. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 294th).

This is the second loss in a row for Oakridge and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Ravenna, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-4.

Coming up, Oakridge will welcome North Muskegon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Norsemen's rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.38 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ravenna, they are taking a road trip to square off against Montague at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
