Ferndale had won nine straight games and Tanner Pidgeon did his part to make it ten on Friday. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 48-6 win over the Arcata Tigers thanks in part to Pidgeon, who rushed for 206 yards and five scores while picking up 12.9 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 65 yards.

Ferndale's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Liam Bishop, Rigel Hahner, and Jacob Kurwitz, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Ferndale's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Arcata, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.

As of now, neither Ferndale nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
