The Little Miami Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Loveland Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Little Miami is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Mariemont with a sharp 16-5 win on Saturday. The Panthers not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since May 10, 2025 (when they won 15-4).
Blake Longbottom looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Lucas Basta was incredible, going 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ian Sukup, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, on Friday Loveland's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against Anderson. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since May 22, 2025.
Nate Ryan looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Blake Carrigan, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Brady Stidham was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
Loveland's record now sits at 4-0. As for Little Miami, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Little Miami's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's matchup. The Panthers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game.
