Football Game Preview: Citizens Christian Academy Patriots vs. Westwood Wildcats

The Citizens Christian Academy Patriots will square off against the Westwood Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Citizens Christian Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Vidalia Heritage Academy, who was ranked third at the time (Citizens Christian Academy was ranked 11th). The Patriots were outmatched by the Eagles and fell 64-20. The Patriots' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Despite the defeat, Citizens Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Dalton Rogers rushed for 98 yards, and also caught one score.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Westwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Grace Christian Academy 38-8. Considering the Wildcats have won four games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Citizens Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Westwood, their win bumped their record up to an identical 7-3.
