The biggest upset of the week belonged to Norfolk Christian, who took down 217th ranked Bishop Sullivan Catholic, 17-8.

Greenbrier Christian Academy's Ty Smith recorded the longest rushing play in VISFA Tidewater this season in his game against Portsmouth Christian last week. Smith's team topped the Patriots as he sprinted for 76 yards on the play and finished with 284 in all.

Greenbrier Christian Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Josh Miller threw for 142 and one touchdown and Bryce Myers had 142 yards receiving.

6-foot-4 quarterback Tim Burns of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy is the league leader in passing yards this season with 397. He has also thrown three touchdowns. On the ground, Donnie Simpson's team's Smith has rushed for 711 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Myers. The Greenbrier Christian Academy star has 13 catches for 320 yards.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Gators take on Hampton Roads Academy. Greenbrier Christian Academy's offense has racked up 177 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Navigators have allowed only 131 on the year.

A big matchup in VISFA Tidewater this week will be when the Gators take on Hampton Roads Academy. As it stands, Greenbrier Christian Academy is in first, while Bryce Kiser's team is in fourth.

Miller and Myers provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Portsmouth Christian. The longest such play in the league this season, the connection resulted in 73 yards.
