Saugatuck won the last time they faced Fennville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trailblazers walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Blackhawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trailblazers.

Soren Peterson was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. Those hits were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Isaac Cruz, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with two runs.

Saugatuck was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are 2-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Saugatuck's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Fennville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saugatuck will head out to take on Kellogg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fennville, they will venture away from home to face off against Allegan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
