Wheatland-Chili picks up sixth straight win at home

The Wheatland-Chili Wildcats posted their biggest win since December 13, 2023 on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 53-33 margin over Webber. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wheatland-Chili.

Javier Ellington went supernova for Wheatland-Chili, scoring 30 points. That's the first time this season that Ellington scored 15 or more points. Jaden Schwenebraten was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.

Wheatland-Chili's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Webber, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.

Wheatland-Chili will head out on the road to square off against Elba at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Elba will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 574th, while Wheatland-Chili is ranked 119th). Webber will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
