Volleyball Recap: Marquette Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Marquette was the 2-1 winner over Fieldcrest when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Monday. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16.

Marquette now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Fieldcrest, their victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-14-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marquette will square off against Midland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fieldcrest, they will challenge Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
