Basketball Recap: Tipton's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Tipton came into Monday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Belle Tigers by a score of 44-36 on Monday. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 56-48 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2017.

Tipton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lucas Cashman out in front who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of William Cashman, who had 11 points.

Tipton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Belle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Tipton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Princeton at 1:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Belle also won't see the court for a while: their next match is against New Bloomfield at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
