Basketball Recap: Marion Center's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

If Marion Center was riding high fresh off their 75-50 takedown of Yough on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Stingers lost 63-39 to the River Valley Panthers on Monday. The Stingers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-15.

Several Stingers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kamden Rozier, who posted eight points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josiah Bish, who put up seven points.

Marion Center's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for River Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, Marion Center won't have much time to rest: their next game is against United at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River Valley, they and Conemaugh Township will face off at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played.
